Growing up in Goolwa on the Fleurieu Peninsula and being surrounded by the natural wonders of the Murray River, the relatively pristine coast & the diverse wildlife, one is easily inspired.
My interest in photography developed after I picked up my first digital camera following the birth of my first son. I soon developed a passion for this artistic medium.
My first solo exhibition was titled “Chasing Light” and that is exactly what I do, I chase and capture the light that falls across our land and seas. Something as simple as the sun rising or setting inspires me to capture the ever changing moments of extraordinary mood and beauty bestowed, by light, upon otherwise ordinary landscapes.
The rush and the feeling of excitement experienced when creating an image or capturing a moment that will never exist again is what I love most about my chosen field of art.
